Air Show preparations underway in Duluth

DULUTH, MN — Prep work is underway for the Duluth Air Show this weekend.

Volunteers were out bright and early Wednesday morning setting up for the two-day show, which was founded in 2001.

Crews were setting up fences, bathrooms, crowd lines, and tents.

Those with the Air Show board say planning for the show takes up to a year and the process is extensive.

“We get together once a month and go over everything and every kind of detail from security to porta-potties. There’s nothing we don’t think about because we want to make sure it’s the perfect air show,” says Jodi Grayson, the media coordinator for the Duluth Air Show.
