Duluth, Minn. — The sights and the energy at Lincoln Park Middle School here… are all thanks to CJ Ham.
“I love Duluth and everything about Duluth and to be able to come back and share this moment with them is amazing.”
the chance to give kids a place to grow as an athlete and a person is something that the pro doesn’t take lightly.
“We didn’t have a lot of this stuff, people coming back and holding camps and I see a lot of people doing it in the NFL and why not come back and bring it back to a community that means so much to me,” Ham said.
To say it was a success… would be an understatement. CJ’s camp drew 275 kids this summer….
“To even think about what that looks like, it makes me feel really good that this community does really support the cause that it’s just bigger than just themselves. This isn’t just about football, it’s about giving back to the community.”
And it’s something the Fullback hopes to bring back every summer for years to come…
“As long as I am physically possible I want to be able to do this camp every single year. Bring it back to Duluth. Back to this community.”
