Man formally charged following Duluth home invasion, robbery, car theft

DULUTH, MN — Court documents show a man charged following a Duluth home invasion targeted his victim through her son.

Brandon Kall, 32, is facing three felony charges, including aggravated robbery and burglary.

The incident happened last Thursday night on the 5200 block of Colorado Street.

According to court documents, the 82-year-old victim said Kall banged on her door so loudly, she opened it.

The documents say he then pushed his way inside, threatened her, then stole money and prescription drugs before stealing the victim’s car, which was later found by police crashed into a tree.

According to documents, Kall met the victim’s son outside a gas station two nights before the robbery.

Kall forced the man to show him where he lived, believing there was money and drugs inside.

At this time, Kall remains in custody.
