DULUTH, MN– The Aerial Lift Bridge in Duluth has been glowing teal for Ovarian Cancer Awareness.
Saturday was the annual Light Duluth Teal Gala which featured a silent auction and dinner.
All proceeds go to the Minnesota Ovarian Cancer Alliance for cancer research and programs.
“Ovarian Cancer is a very subtle silent killer, the symptoms are very quiet and they are often dismissed for other things so I always tell women if you have any symptoms for more than a few weeks please go to your doctor,” said Kristine Greer a cancer survivor.
On Sunday the organization is hosting a memorial golf scramble.
