2020 Duluth street projects announced

DULUTH, MN — Duluth city officials have announced which street projects funded by the sales tax will be worked on in 2020.

Mayor Emily Larson and Public Works Director Jim Benning made the announcement early Wednesday afternoon at Duluth’s City Hall.

Larson and Benning said in all, 18.6 miles of work will be done starting in May, and will wrap up in the fall.

The roads chosen, which can be found below or by clicking here on a mobile device, were chosen in part by geographic equity and dispersion.

In addition, meetings will be held throughout the next three months regarding topics such as sales tax street projects, street maintenance and snow removal operations, as well as other issues which are important to them.

The schedule of meetings, which will be called City Hall in the City community listening sessions, are as follows:

September

October

November

We’ll hear from city officials tonight on the CBS 3 Duluth News at 6 and 10.
