Man authorities believe armed and dangerous, still on the loose

RHINELANDER, WI (WAOW) – A short pursuit Saturday resulting in an alert to multiple counties to be aware and on the lookout for a man deemed dangerous.

“Yesterday the Lac Du Flambeau police department received a call of a disturbance at a residence up in their jurisdiction,” said Brad Fogerty, Patrol Sergeant for Oneida Co. Sheriffs Dept.

40 year old Christopher Stanley Fralick, believed to be armed and dangerous, was last seen during a high speed chase driving a black 2012 Jeep Liberty with a Wisconsin license plate 677WYL.

“They attempted to stop the subject at which point he failed to stop which led into a short pursuit that left Lac Du Flambeau’s jurisdiction and entered Oneida county,” said Fogerty. Going on to say, “he abruptly stopped on highway 70 heading southbound into Minocqua, turned onto a side road and that’s where officers lost sight of him.”

In a joint press release from the Vilas Co. Sheriffs Office and the Oneida Co. Sheriffs Office, both requested the public’s assistance in locating Fralick.

“Just anyone, if you see him or a vehicle matching that description to contact your local law enforcement,” said Fogerty.

As of right now officers are unsure if Fralick is armed but he said the potential is there. Fogerty says if you see Fralick or his vehicle, do not approach him and call 9-1-1.
