Esko, MN – Wednesday night marks the first football game for Esko High School after the tragic loss of Jackson Pfister.
The 15-year-old collapsed on the football field Friday night during an away game in Aitkin.
The medical examiner’s office in Ramsey County stated in a preliminary report that Pfister’s death was natural due to congenital heart disease.
Wednesday night the football team faces off against Crosby-Ironton.
Pfister’s coaches and team plan to honor him Wednesday night; and Crosby-Ironton will be wearing blue wristbands and helmet decals with Jackson’s number on them.
We’ll be live from that game tonight on the CBS 3 Duluth News at Six.
