ASHLAND, WI– Officials say a Wisconsin man has been convicted of multiple counts relating to a 2018 Ashland arson.
According to the County Clerk of Courts, Eugene Stumbaugh, 54, has been convicted of multiple charges, including the following:
-One felony count of first degree intentional attempted homicide
-One felony count of arson of building without owner’s permission
-Two misdemeanor counts of bail jumping
Stumbaugh set a home on fire while his ex-girlfriend was inside back in July 2018.
Ashland Police say he is originally from Townsend, Wisconsin.
His sentencing is scheduled for January 30th, 2020.
