DULUTH, MN-- Dozens of kids in Duluth made sure not to let Saturday's nice day go to waste.
Instead, they took advantage of the winter wonderland at the Snow Fort City Build and Sled Party at Leif Erickson Park.
Tons of volunteers helped build up the Snow Fort City, using spray bottles to turn the powdery snow into packed structures, all formed by their imagination.
In between building the city, there was plenty of time for other fun activities, like sledding and making snowmen.
There was also a snowball distance contest.
The point of the play day at Leif Erickson Park was for local kids to enjoy the snow while using their imagination and artistic skills.
