The Bulldogs suffered a sweep on the road at the hands of the Huskies this past weekend… notching a goal on Friday, they were completely shut-down on Saturday… losing 2-0 on hockey day minnesota.

But the team isn't getting too down… there's still a lot of conference play to be had.

"Definitely with the Olympic ice, it's more space and more offense, more goals, but like I said, it was just one of those games: tight checking not a whole lot of space and we're going to be getting everyone's best every night. Forget about the week and look to this one," said junior forward Justin Richards.

"Played a good game Saturday. Asked our guys to play better and they did, so did they, it was a good hockey game, came down to one shot. Happens in a game. Stay with what we're doing," said head coach Scott Sandelin.

UMD takes on North Dakota this Friday and Saturday at AMSOIL Arena.
