The low pressure system will continue its slow drift across our region so light snow showers and patchy freezing drizzle will continue. Low temps will run the range of 10-25 in Minnesota. The range will be 25-30 for Wisconsin and the U.P. The wind will be NE 10-20 mph.
That trough of lower pressure will still stick with us into Friday and that means a 40-50% chance for more light snow will linger. Check the snow total map below for how much is expected from this round. Friday's high temps will be 27-34 in MN and go 32-36 in WI and MI. It will be warmer than normal like that for all zones. The wind will be NE 5-10 mph.
Between Thursday morning and Friday evening, most areas should see light accumulations, but the higher totals will be along the North and South Shores. Duluth could see 2-4", with areas in northern Bayfield county seeing potentially 4-8".
Saturday will be mostly cloudy with low 25 and high 32. Sunday will be mostly cloudy with low 22 and high 32.
The warm spell that began on Wednesday will persist at leas until next Thursday. Normal high is near 20 and the whole week will run 29-32. Next snow chance comes Tuesday. It is a 30% chance for light snow and will last through Wednesday.
