Wind Chill Advisory covers entire region Thursday night as arctic blast continues

WEATHER ALERTS: Wind Chill Advisory will cover our entire area Thursday night and Friday morning. Actual air temps will again run -10 to -30 and the Wind Chill Factor will remove heat from exposed skin as if it were -40.

THURSDAY NIGHT:  Arctic high pressure has hold of the region again as a polar air mass continues to dive to the southern U.S. We will get a clear sky and cold conditions. MN lows will be -15 to -30. WI and MI temps will be -10 to -20. The wind will be W 5-10 mph.

FRIDAY: The high bring us another sunny day but a warm front and southerly winds will make for a warm up on Friday afternoon. High temps will be 12-17 above zero. The wind will be S 5-15 mph.

WEEKEND: Saturday will get a few light morning flurries from the small low that brought the Friday warm front. Low temp will be 10 with a high of 29. Sunday will be clear to partly cloudy with low 1 and high 15.

NEXT WEEK:  Next weeks highs will run 13-23. The lows will go -5 to +5. Most days should be dry and somewhat sunny except for Monday. That day gets a 50% chance for 1-3" of snow.
