CLOQUET, MN- The Cloquet-Esko-Carlton girl's hockey team returned home on Sunday after their runner-up finish at state.

The community held a welcome home ceremony at Northwoods Credit Union arena.

The team had a number of accomplishments this season including best record in program history. The team also set for a program record for most wins in a row with 17 earlier in the season.

Head Coach Courtney Olin says the team has helped pave the way for the future.

"I think this team is truly leaving a legacy on our program that will hopefully be remembered and continue to grow the girl's program for years to come. You look at the amount of youth players that have come down and come today. It's a really cool thing and makes me excited for the future," said Olin.
