Barnum man in custody after shots fired incident in Lincoln Park

DULUTH, MN -- A Barnum man is in custody after Duluth police arrested him in connection to reports of shots fired.

It happened around 2:30 Tuesday afternoon near North 28th Ave. W. and W. 1st St. in the Lincoln Park neighborhood.

According to DPD, witnesses told police the suspect ran into an address on the block.

Officers surrounded that place.

They say the man came outside with a gun in his waistband, and officers found spent shell casings nearby.

Duluth Police don't think the shots were aimed at any person or property.

Nobody was hurt.

The 24-year-old man faces charges of Reckless Discharge of a Firearm within a Municipality.
