DULUTH, MN - Duluth's Carmody Irish Pub and Brewing is set to celebrate Fat Tuesday, with a craw fish boil Tuesday.
Doors open at 3 p.m. with the boil beginning at 5 p.m. Tuesday.
Fat Tuesday comes the day before Ash Wednesday and is marked by feasting and celebration, which traditionally preceded the observance of the Lenten fast.
At Carmody, crawfish will be poured on a table, and customers will be able to have at it, after it's boiled right outside the building.
In parts of the U.S. with large Polish communities, Fat Tuesday is celebrated with filled doughnuts called paczki.
There will be a handful of paczki at Carmody's Tuesday, but on a first come first serve basis.
