DULUTH, MN -- Duluth Police are investigating after the owners of Black Water Lounge reported someone stole more than $15,000 worth of food and liquor from their downtown restaurant and bar.

Police responded to a report of a burglary at 3:30 p.m. Monday, but according to a Facebook post, Black Water owners believe the burglary happened sometime Sunday.

Black Water has been closed for renovations since January 1, 2019.

Black Water's owners say the food and liquor was apparently taken from a back storage room.

"If you see anyone trying to sell large portions of salmon, beef, liquor, etc. or if anything from this video seems familiar," Black Water owners wrote. "We are more than willing to compensate anyone who can provide valuable information."

Black Water shared survelliance video from the incident that Duluth Police confirmed is the same suspect they are seeking in connection with the burglary.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Duluth Police.
