TODAY: We'll have another nice day across the area, a near carbon copy of what we saw Wednesday. Skies will be sunny to mostly sunny, but areas west and southwest will see a few extra clouds. Winds trend SE at 5-15 mph with gusts up to 25 mph. Highs will climb into the 70s to near 80, but staying in the 50s to low 60s lakeside.

TONIGHT: It'll be another pleasant and mild night with partly cloudy skies. Winds trend S at 4-8 mph, but more E to NE lakeside. Lows fall back into the 50s, but 40s lakeside.

FRIDAY: We'll see increasing clouds throughout the day as an upper-level disturbance tracks towards the area. There's a chance of scattered showers and thunderstorms into the afternoon hours, but the best chance looks to be across our far western areas. The chance for scattered showers and thunderstorms will increase across the area into Friday as the disturbance passes through. Winds trend S to SE at 5-12 mph. Highs will be a little cooler, in the mid 60s to mid 70s with 50s lakeside. Lows fall back into the upper 40s to mid 50s.

WEEKEND: We'll see scattered chances of showers and thunderstorms throughout the weekend. The weekend won't be a total washout, but if you do have outdoor plans, be sure to keep an eye on the skies and the radar. It looks like we should get a break Saturday night into Sunday morning. Any of the storms that occur over the weekend will stay below severe levels. Winds remain S to SE Saturday, but will turn S to SW Sunday. Highs will be in the 70s throughout the weekend, but a little cooler lakeside for Saturday. Lows remain in the low to mid 50s.

MEMORIAL DAY: Some showers and thunderstorms will linger for part of the morning, but we'll see clearing skies into the afternoon. Winds trend W at 5-15 mph. Highs will be in the upper 60s to mid 70s.

TUESDAY-FRIDAY: The sunshine returns Tuesday through Thursday with a mostly sunny to partly cloudy sky. There could be a slight chance of a shower or thunderstorm, but i'm keeping chances less than 20% for now. A better chance of rain could move in towards next weekend, but that's still a week plus out. Highs will remain in the 70s as we see more of a southerly flow taking over, but winds will remain light so we could see a light lake breeze as well. Temps look to cool heading towards next weekend as well.
