SUPERIOR, WI -- Douglas County buildings will be reopening to the public on Monday, June 1.
The buildings had been open minimally to reduce the rate of COVID-19 transmission and to protect citizens and employees of Douglas County.
Citizens are still strongly encouraged to continue to do as much business as possible by telephone or e-mail.
The Courthouse and Government Center buildings will each use one entrance only.
Face masks or coverings are strongly encouraged for anyone entering County buildings. Hand sanitizing stations are set up inside. Any person experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19 must not enter the County’s buildings.
Officials are requiring people to use the six-foot social distance guidelines to mitigate the impact of coronavirus.
Additionally, they say they are continually assessing conditions in consultation with the Douglas County Health Department.
