Arrest made in Makinen homicide from October

MAKINEN, MN -- Eight months after he died, St. Louis County Sheriff's deputies have arrested two people in connection to the murder of a Makinen man.

At the time, they'd only say his death was suspicious, not how he died.

On Thursday, the Sheriff's Office announced two arrests.

53-year-old J. Nicholas Cramer and 46-year-old Michelle Cramer are in custody.

They face charges of aiding and abetting second-degree murder.

The department didn't offer any other details., except Meyer's death remains under investigation.

The nature of his death has not been released.
