Duluth, Minn. -- With the Northwoods season on hold for the Duluth Huskies… Wade Stadium over in West Duluth hasn't seen nearly as much commotion this summer as in summers past… today, that looks like it might change a bit.
The City of Duluth announced that they are opening up Wade Stadium for private rentals only for small group activities and events.
The city added that With baseball competition currently halted, the public has the opportunity to play during a child's birthday or graduation
parties, host a family night out, wedding, and more. The rental includes the patio space along the third baseline, with eight
picnic tables and the turf field.
Due to the Minnesota Department of Health guidelines, the city requires gatherings to be no more than 25 people, and anyone not
from the same household are required to social distance at least six feet apart from one another.
The cost to rent the facility is $45 per hour, with a $100 refundable damage deposit. Wade Stadium is open for reservations
from 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. daily from June 1 to August 14. The times to rent the stadium will change from August 15 to
September 30 from 8:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
