TWO HARBORS, MN-- A popular North Shore attraction site will be re-opening their doors after the pandemic forced them to close.
Split Rock Lighthouse will welcome guests back on Wednesday July 15th.
Guests can order tickets online or over the phone to maintain social distancing, there will be limited tickets available for walk-up purchase.
Lighthouse Keeper Hayes Scriven said tours will all be self-guided and will go one way with signs around the grounds.
"If they don't pre-book online they can go through the main entrance of the building. But that's a timed entry so they will have to wait to come in. That's how we're going to meter the traffic," said Scriven.
The gift shop will be outside for guests, Scriven said come September they may move the shop back inside.
Certain indoor areas including the lighthouse and keepers house will be closed to the public.
Tickets are available for purchase one month in advance, for more information click here.
