Cooler, below average temps to begin August

The cold front will continue to move into Northwest Wisconsin tonight and into the overnight hours bringing the chance for showers and a few thunderstorms. Lows will drop into the upper 50s with winds out of the north at 5-10 mph.


A few lingering showers in northwest Wisconsin and the U.P. are possible early Sunday morning. Clouds will decrease from the northwest to the southeast as the high pressure moves in from the north. Winds will become breezy out of the north at 10-15 mph, and temperatures only climb into the upper 60s, low 70s!


Pleasant conditions expected for Monday with cooler temperatures. Highs will only climb into the upper 60s with partly cloudy skies. The average temperature is 77 degrees!! Winds will be out of the north and east at 5-10 mph.


Morning lows will be in the upper 40s, low 50s!! More sunshine through Tuesday afternoon with partly cloudy skies. High temperatures will warm into the low 70s.


Temperatures will slowly start to warm back to average by late week. There is a chance for showers on Thursday and again by the weekend.
