TODAY/TONIGHT:

Another mainly dry and quiet day is expected with partly sunny skies. A 20% chance of a spotty shower is possible this afternoon. Temperatures will climb into the mid to upper 70s with winds out of the south at 5-10 mph.

Tonight, as a low pressure system approaches the region we'll see partly cloudy skies overnight. Temperatures will drop into the upper 50s, low 60s.

FRIDAY:

The warm front will move in on Friday which brings us mostly cloudy skies and will allow temperatures and dew points to be on the rise. Highs will be in the upper 70s, low 80s...and dew points will be in the upper 60s. As the cold front moves in, we'll have a 30% chance of showers and thunderstorms Friday evening into Saturday morning, some of which could be on the strong side.

SATURDAY:

Saturday will mostly cloudy with a 60% chance of scattered shower and thunderstorm activity. High temperatures will sit right near 80 degrees with southerly winds.

SUNDAY:

As we wait for the next cold front to move into the region, most of Sunday should remain dry. Mostly cloudy skies with high temperatures near 80 degrees. By late evening hours, there will be a 40% chance of showers and thunderstorms heading into Monday morning..some of which could be strong. Lows overnight drop to 60 degrees.

MONDAY:

Monday morning we will have lingering shower and thunderstorm activity before high pressure clears us up. By the afternoon hours, we'll see partly cloudy skies and drier air moves into the region. Highs will be in the upper 70s, and winds will have shifted from the north and west.

LOOKING AHEAD:

High pressure remains in place through mid week. Expect mostly sunny skies Tuesday, and Wednesday with temperatures in the upper 70s low 80s. northwesterly flow will bring back lower dewpoints.
