Fourth annual Life House fundraiser for homeless youth

SUPERIOR, WI-- A local non-proft held an annual fundraiser in hopes to help at-risk youth in the Twin Ports.

Life House, which provides support and transitional housing for homeless youth aged 14 to 24 held the yearly fundraiser in hopes of providing more menstrual products to the young women they serve.

Elipsis Duluth helped put on the event at Earth Rider Brewery.

Brittany Lind, creator of Elipsis said, "Period prouducts are not covered by any government funding. I decided that I would every August host a fundraiser so that Lifehouse didn't have the finacial burden of doing that."

COVID-19 precautions were taken including social distancing and free hand sanitizer throughout the event.

There was live performances by local musicians and prizes to Twin Port area businesses.
