DULUTH, Minn. -- The University of Minnesota Duluth has announced that they will be pausing all athletic activities.
The announcement comes via a statement from Athletic Director Josh Berlo. UMD had previously held five successful weeks of workouts, conditioning, and skill development sessions. There was no timeline presented as to when they might resume activities on campus.
"We are currently focused on a successful start to the Fall semester and will resume athletic activities as soon as appropriate," said Berlo in the statement.
The NSIC has already announced a delayed start to their season, while the NCAA has canceled all of their fall division two championships.
