One arrested in Friday night shooting

DULUTH, MN -- On Friday night, Duluth Police responded to reports of shots fired in the West Duluth neighborhood just before 10:30 P.M.

When officers arrived to the 200 Block of 70th Ave West, they learned that a 24-year-old male and a 25-year-old male got into an altercation outside of the residence.

Witnesses on scene heard a single shot from inside.

Officers were able to find evidence consistent with that report and took the 24-year-old into custody.

The 24-year-old was then brought to the St. Louis County Jail for Possession of a Firearm by an Ineligible Person, Reckless Discharge, and a probation warrant.

According to Duluth Police, the victim was gone upon arrival.

Injuries are unknown.
