Cooler air moves in today, frost likely overnight

TODAY/TONIGHT:

Today, we will see the hazy skies again in the morning, but it will clear out in the afternoon. Expect partly cloudy skies as clouds will decrease into the afternoon and winds turning out of the northwest 10-20 mph gusting up to 25 mph. Highs will be in the upper 50’s and lower 60’s.

A frost advisory has been issued for the Twin Ports, and much of Northern Wisconsin, as a Freeze Warning has been issued or Northern Minnesota. Lows will fall into the upper 20’s north and 30’s elsewhere, so frost is likely into the morning.

THURSDAY:

High pressure continues to dominate across the region bringing us mostly sunny skies for Thursday. Highs will be chilly only climbing into the mid to upper 50s. Winds will be out of the northwest at 4-6 mph. Overnight, lows drop back into the low 30s, so expect patchy frost.

FRIDAY:

We'll see a mix of sun and clouds for Friday as high temperatures will bounce back into the upper 50s. Winds will be fairly calm.

LOOKING AHEAD:

Temperatures will struggle to break 60 degrees on Saturday, however a change in patterns occurs Sunday. A low pressure approaching the region brings warm air advection which allows temperatures to climb into the upper 60s low 70s Sunday throughout mid week!
