Today, we'll see mostly sunny skies as high pressure moves into the region. As the cold front departs off to our east, Northwest Wisconsin could see a quick shower this afternoon. Otherwise dry conditions and temperatures climb into the mid 70s! Winds will be breezy out of the southwest at 10-15 mph. As for the wildfire smoke that was in the sky over the weekend, the thicker smoke moves out this morning and we'll be left with just a thin layer.
Tonight, mostly clear skies and mild temperatures. Lows drop into the low 50s with winds out of the southwest at 5-10 mph.
Tuesday is the first day of Fall, however conditions say otherwise. High pressure remains over the Northland bringing Sunny skies and highs in the upper 70s! Winds will be calm out of the west. Overnight, clear conditions and lows in the mid 50s.
A shortwave approaches and will bring increasing clouds into the afternoon. This could spark a 20% chance of passing shower into the evening. Partly cloudy skies and highs remaining warm in the mid 70s.
The shower chances linger into Thursday morning before high pressure moves in behind it. Mostly sunny by the afternoon and highs will cool down into the low 60s. A new system will approach on Friday and allow a couple more mild days in the upper 60s, low 70s as we get into Saturday. Rain is likely over the weekend, followed by cooler temperatures on Sunday.
