Warm spell will usher in official start of autumn

MONDAY NIGHT: Tonight, the sky will be partly cloudy and low temperatures will be warmer than normal. They will run 50-55. The wind will be SW 5-15 mph.

TUESDAY: Tuesday is the first day of autumn but the season will start with summery temperatures as our September warm spell continues. High temps will be 75-80. The wind will be W 5-10 mph.

WEDNESDAY: A shortwave of lower air pressure aloft will approach and trigger an increase in clouds. That could deliver a 40% chance for rain through early Thursday morning. Low will be near 54 and the high should hit 75. The wind will be S 5-10 mph.

THURSDAY & FRIDAY: Thursday should be partly sunny with a low of 52 and high of only 63. But, the warm spell comes back for one more day on Friday with a low of 53 and a high of 74 under a partly sunny sky.

NEXT WEEKEND: Saturday will be cloudy with a 50% chance for rain and the morning low will be 53 with an afternoon high of 67. Sunday should be partly cloudy with low 47 and high 65.
