Today, high pressure moves in to our south and this brings quiet and calm conditions. Mostly sunny skies is expected as afternoon clouds will develop. Highs will be chilly in the upper 20s, a few low 30s by the lake with winds out of the northwest at 5-10 mph. Average high this week is 47°!
Tonight, skies will clear and temperatures will plummet. Lows overnight will drop into the single digits north and teens most places. Winds will be out of the west at 5-10 mph.
Tuesday morning starts off very cold in the single digits and teens. Temperatures rebound to near freezing for the afternoon high with increasing clouds by the evening. A shortwave will pass to our north which will bring a chance of light snow and freezing drizzle for areas north of Duluth. Winds will be very breezy out of the southwest at 10-15 mph. Mostly cloudy overnight, so lows only drop into the mid 20s.
Partly cloudy skies for Wednesday as temperatures continue to warm. Highs will be in the low 40s with a west wind at 5-10 mph.
Quiet conditions continue for Thursday with partly cloudy skies and highs in the upper 30s, low 40s. Calm winds out of the north.
