Tuesday starts cold, temps climb closer to average by mid week

TODAY/TONIGHT:

We start off very cold this morning in the single digits and teens. Temperatures rebound to near freezing for the afternoon high with increasing clouds. A shortwave will pass to our north which will bring a chance of flurries and freezing drizzle for areas north of Duluth. Winds will be very breezy out of the southwest at 10-15 mph.

Tonight, we continue under mostly cloudy skies and breezy winds out of the southwest. We will hit our low temp in the upper 20s very early in the evening as temperatures climb overnight.

WEDNESDAY:

Mostly cloudy for the day on Wednesday, but high temperatures finally get back into the low 40s! Winds will be from the west at 5-10 mph.

THURSDAY:

Quiet conditions continue for Thursday with partly cloudy skies and highs in the upper 30s, low 40s. Calm winds out of the north.

FRIDAY:

High pressure remains in place for much of Friday providing quiet conditions and partly cloudy skies. Highs will climb to the low 40s with winds out of the south at 5-10 mph.
