Hayward: Drive Thru Trick or Treating available

Starting things off in Hayward Wisconsin where children and families have the opportunity to trick or treat safely this Halloween. A drive thru trick or treating station will be available at Marketplace Foods. All you have to do is drive to the front of the store and a bag of goodies will be delivered to your vehicle!

Ashland: City Council approves development project

Heading now to Ashland where the city council has approved a 12-million dollar development project for affordable housing. The 50 units of affordable rentals will be built on the former site of Timeless Timber. The city council also approved the 1.2 million dollar construction of a new Mexican restaurant. The projects would both occupy city-owned land valued at nearly $500,000. The city would collect property tax revenue from both projects.

Grand Rapids: Webinar series focuses on Alzheimer's care

And finally we'll finish off in Grand Rapids where the Alzheimer's Association is hosting a series of webinars focused on helping inform families and caregivers of Alzheimer's patients. The webinar series will be held throughout the month of November. You can register online at alz.org/crf
