WEATHER STORY: Sunday's snow showers for MN and lake effect for WI and MI is going away and the wall of high pressure cells from the west is now taking over. We should be dry and sunny for a week.

MONDAY NIGHT: The sky will be clear. The low temp will run 10-15. The wind will be calm.

TUESDAY: It will be mostly sunny with high temps pulling towards 30. That is pretty close to normal. The wind will be S 5-10 mph.

WEDNESDAY: It will be mostly sunny again thanks to the trio of high pressure cells that will be dominating our weather this week. Morning low will be 17. The high will hit 35. The wind will be NW 5-15 mph.

COMING UP: Thursday will be the wildest day of the week with a partly sunny sky. The highs should keep us high and dry through next Monday. On the Monday night CBS 3 news at 5, 6 and 10 pm, meteorologist Dave Anderson will talk about the chance of snow finally returning perhaps next Tuesday. Meteorologist Kaitlyn Moffett will offer her theories on that hypothesis Tuesday morning between 5-7 am.
