Northwest Wisconsin: Emergency Service crews in the northern part of Wisconsin are asking rural residents to help them out this winter. The Amnicon Fire Department shared a post on Facebook which said, "We can't help you if we can't find you." They're referring to fire numbers covered in snow and are asking residents to make sure their fire numbers are visible this winter.

They're also reminding residents that is in not appropriate to call 911 for road conditions, instead, you can call 511 for the latest information on that.

The groundbreaking for the project was held in May of 2020 in the midst of the pandemic. Despite some unforeseen challenges, the completion date for this project is still set for October of 2021.

You can find updates on the project here.
