COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - The National Collegiate Hockey Conference programs announced Wednesday that they will be making multiple schedule changes for the next two weekends.

NCHC said it was a combination of positive COVID-19 tests and contact tracing within the Minnesota Duluth hockey program, that prompted the program to adjust the schedule.

Therefore, this weekend’s Minnesota Duluth at Miami series, scheduled for Friday and Saturday, Jan. 15-16, has been postponed.

The games have been rescheduled for Friday and Saturday, Jan. 29-30 in Oxford with game times set for 7:05 p.m. ET on Jan. 29 and 5:05 p.m. ET for the series finale.

All four West Division teams also had their series scheduled for Friday and Saturday, Jan. 22-23, adjusted by a day to accommodate for this weekend’s changes.

The decision to postpone and reschedule these series is consistent with the National Collegiate Hockey Conference’s COVID-19 protocols, developed by the Conference’s Health & Safety Competitions Committee, as well as the Conference’s Game Schedule Policy, developed by the NCHC’s Athletic Council," NCHC's site posted.
