DULUTH, MN-- Lake Superior College is giving three of its standout students the tools to succeed.
Three students in the Machine Tech program were presented with the LSC Foundation's Machine Toolbox Scholarship.
Each student was awarded tools and a toolbox worth nearly $2,000.
One of the students, Brandon Tessier says this means a lot to him as they get ready to enter the industry.
"It helps out tremendously the tools that we received and we are just going through them are what every machinist needs you have from your calipers to your micrometers to other measuring instruments to just even a hammer it makes the world a difference," said Tessier.
the Toolbox Scholarships are awarded each year to students in the machining program at Lake Superior College.
