Chisholm, MN- The city of Chisholm is looking to hire for seasonal positions. If you are looking for a job, the Parks and Recreation Department is accepting applications for the Recreational Aide positions for the “Chisholm Summer Recreation Program.” To apply you must be at least 16 years old by June 1. Grand Marais, MN- The deadline for artists to apply for the 30th Annual Grand Marais Arts Festival is coming up. The festival is July 10 and 11. It showcases artist’s work and provides insight into their artistic process through demonstration and dialogue. Applications to take part in the festivities are due April 12. Hermantown, MN- April 8 has been proclaimed as Proctor-Hermantown Mirage State Champions Day. The shared girl's hockey team of Hermantown and Proctor Schools garnered its first-ever state title with a 3-2 double-overtime victory Saturday. The victory also secured an undefeated season for the Mirage, putting the team’s final record at 21-0. Hermantown mayor passed the resolution at the City Council meeting on Monday. A similar proclamation was made for the same date in the City of Proctor.
