Superior, WI- The Wisconsin Sea Grant and the Lake Superior National Estuarine Research Reserve are continuing their "River Talks" series. Next Wednesday, April 14, they will be hosting a Zoom event called "Discovering the Magic of the Estuary: Bringing Tourists to the St. Louis River.”
Speakers will give an overview of tourism and outdoor recreation in the St. Louis River estuary and talk about the River's Water Trail designation given by the U.S. Secretary of the Interior last fall. To sign up, click here.
Superior, WI- The American Legion Post 435 recently renewed its commitment to an important youth program. They donated $2,500 to the Superior American Legion Baseball organization.
The donation will help keep the cost for youth players lower by helping purchase uniforms, baseballs, equipment and help pay for other expenses.
The Superior American Legion team is made up of players ages 17 to 19 who play around Wisconsin and in tournaments across the country.
Duluth, MN- Keep Duluth Clean has coordinated an all-day, city-wide clean-up event set for Saturday, April 10.
Volunteers can clean up anywhere around town that they see fit.

Participants can also submit litter reports to Keep Duluth Clean so they can monitor how much and what types of litter is found.
Those that submit a litter report will be entered for giveaways from several Duluth businesses.
