Superior, WI- The Douglas County Humane Society is hosting its annual "Paws for Love" fundraiser this week.
From April 17 at 9 a.m. to April 25 at 9 p.m., bidding will be open on more than 120 silent auction items. A few big ticket items include a Disney World Package, a romantic getaway, and the chance to name a litter of puppies or kittens.
The annual event is typically catered but being that it is virtual, this year local restaurants will be doing specials over the nine days instead. Call Dreamland Supper Club, Hammond Steakhouse, Vintage Italian Pizza (VIP), or Culver's and mention "Paws for Love" to see what discounts and specials they'll be offering.
All proceeds from this event help the Humane Society of Douglas County continue to provide care for their animals.
