“Every plant is native to someplace, but that place may not be here,” said Lori Seele, coordinator of the Duluth Cooperative Invasive Species Management Area. Gardeners interested in growing true, native wildflowers are advised to purchase native seed mixes or plants from local native plant sellers. There are several local vendors and farmers markets coming up in Duluth in the next few weeks.
