Minnesota- The Superior National Forest announced dates to begin providing services at fee sites.
Campgrounds are typically open from May to October but dates may be impacted if winter weather interferes.
The Laurentian and Kawishiwi Ranger Districts plan to partially open May 1. The Tofte, La Croix, and Gunflint Ranger Districts will open on or after May 8.
Guests are always encouraged to check the status of campgrounds online before arrival, especially during early spring.

Cotton, MN- This Friday and Saturday, Old School Lives will be hosting their annual Junkaroo and Mocha Too market event.
Vendors will vary from Junk, Rummage, Vintage, Antique, Art & Craft, small businesses, and more!
In conjunction with the Junkaroo and Mocha Too, Old School Lives will be hosting an All Things Gardening Exchange. Those interested bring in anything from tools to seeds and go home with something else.
This year they are requesting one dollar suggested donation at the door.

Ely, MN- The Ely Public Library unveiled a few of their new stained glass windows.
The new windows will be going up on the Chapman Street side of the building.
The windows are part of a project being partially sponsored through the Minnesota Arts and Cultural Heritage fund and the Arrowhead Library System.
The windows are being made by a group of local artists.
