High pressure is in control of the forecast today. Mostly sunny skies and highs warming up into the 70s and 80s! Winds will be light out of the southwest at 5-10 mph. A few isolated showers are expected in far northeastern Minnesota this afternoon.
Tonight, we'll be under clear skies and lows remaining mild in the low 50s.
Tuesday starts off beautiful with sunny skies. A trough will move into the region which increase cloud cover by the afternoon. This will also spark a 20% chance of scattered shower activity into the evening hours. winds will be out of the southeast, so a lake breeze will keep those along the Northshore a bit cooler than further inland. Lows overnight drop into the low 50s.
The surface trough progresses though the region on Wednesday bringing mostly cloudy skies and scattered showers throughout the afternoon and evening. Temperatures stay mild in the upper 60s, to mid 70s. Winds will remain out of the southeast.
Another mild day for Thursday as a cold front starts to approach from our northwest. Highs will climb into the low 70s, and there is a 70% chance of scattered showers and even thunderstorms all afternoon and evening.
