Duluth, MN- New Farmers Market opens Tuesday! Clover Valley Farmers Market will run every Tuesday starting June 8 through Sep. 28, rain or shine in the parking lot of the Duluth Township Hall. The market will be a first for Duluth Township. The market requires all vendors to at least half produce all products within the Duluth Township. Superior, WI- A big change is coming in August for the city of Superior.
It was announced Tuesday, the garbage and recycling routes will be changing August 2. The new routes will streamline the routes and improve efficiency. Days of the week may change for some but recycling and garbage will be together on the same day, recycling just every other week. To see the new schedule map, click here.
Ely, MN- A network dedicated to helping first responders receive better wireless communication connections helped responders fight the Bezhik Fire in May. FirstNet is a program building towers to help provide higher connectivity to responders in more remote places across the U.S. One site is located near the Echo Trail and has already begun to help first responders. The site is also mostly powered by solar energy.
The FirstNet program has also helped boost the signal of 600 other sites in Minnesota, all helping with first responder connectivity and communication.
