St. Louis River AOC- The Saint Louis River Area of Concern is coming into focus with a seasonal photo contest. The Area of Concern was designated in 1987 in an agreement from the United States and Canada. It recognized the damage done before modern environmental laws were put into place. Contest sponsors say this is an opportunity for local photographers to use their talents and help highlight the diversity of the St. Louis River Estuary and the importance of restoration efforts.
Entries and winners of the contest will be shared at the 2021 St. Louis River Area of Concern Celebration of Progress event. To find out contest rules and entry details, click here.
