The author of the page said Latimer was diagnosed with autism at a young age, and last year, he went through extreme medical complications, which included a 40-day stay in a Twin Cities hospital.

The 17-year-old was described as a pure and innocent soul who will be greatly missed.

CBS 3 Duluth reached out to Grand Itasca and St. Luke's Hospitals to check on the two drivers who suffered life-threatening injuries but was unable to get their current status.
