Today, expect cloudy skies and a chance for showers and thunderstorms. A cold front will sweep across the region to bring rain and thunder from west to east in the afternoon. The threat of severe weather is little right now, but we will have to keep an eye on it today. The SPC has parts of NW Wisconsin under a marginal risk which is a level 1 out of 5 for a chance of strong thunderstorms. Highs will be held to the 50’s and 60’s by the lake with a strong east wind. Inland 70’s, and some 80’s.
Tonight, clouds start to decrease and lows will sit in the 50s.
High pressure moves back in for Saturday bringing a gorgeous day. Highs will climb into the low 80s under mostly sunny skies. Winds will be breezy out of the west at 10-15 mph. Lows overnight drop into the upper 50s.
High pressure continues to slide east for Sunday and we'll see a few more clouds. Highs will be back in the mid 80s with winds out out of the west at 5-10. There is a slight 20% chance of a passing shower as a small wave in the jet stream moves through. Overnight, lows drop into the 50s.
Quiet and dry weather kicks off next week with mostly sunny skies for Monday. Highs will climb back into the low to mid 80s with winds out of the northwest at 5-10 mph.
