This evening: This evening, everything looks good to go. Mostly sunny skies persist with temperatures in the upper 70s and lower 80s across the northland. It is also still breezy with winds out of the west between 10-20 MPH. The dry conditions combined with the breezy conditions mean we are dealing with some fire issues. The national weather service has issued a red flag warning for parts of Cook, Itasca, Koochiching, Lake and, St. Louis counties.

Tonight: Tonight looks good with mostly clear skies overhead. Temperatures are in the low to mid-50s across the Northland. Winds are out of the west between 5-10 MPH; it could gust up to 20 MPH at times.

Tomorrow: Sunday looks to be another nice day as well, with just a few more puffy clouds overhead. There is a stray shot at a shower or thunderstorm, but most should stay dry. Temperatures climb into the low 80s, some in the southern portions of the viewing area. Winds are out of the west between 5-10 MPH.

Monday: Monday is another sunny one with mostly sunny skies overhead. Temperatures climb into the upper 70s. Winds are out of the northwest between 5-10 MPH.

Coming up: the week looks stunning. Meteorologist Peter Kvitkauskas has a look at the 7-day forecast on the CBS 3 News at 6:00 and 10:00.
