Duluth police request public’s help identifying armed robbery suspect

UPDATE 9/12-- The Duluth Police Department is asking for the public's help identifying the suspect in Saturday's armed robbery.

The incident happened Saturday night at the Speedway in Morgan Park.

The suspect is described by police as a Black or Native American male that was wearing  gloves, a camouflage sweatshirt, and a bright orange face covering during the robbery.

Police ask if you have any information to call 911.

DULUTH, MN -- Duluth police are searching for an armed robber who was last seen in Duluth's Morgan Park neighborhood.

Authorities responded to the 1000 block of 88th Ave. West Saturday night to reports of an armed robber.

The caller said the robber had a gun and ran away.

No one was hurt, but police say the suspect is a threat to the public until arrested.

Police say there is no description of the suspect at this time.

Officers are still on scene investigating as of 10 p.m. Saturday.

Police say the suspect has shown "complete disregard to public safety."
