Hermantown, MN- You're invited to the phase one grand opening of the city-wide trail system. The celebration will be at Stebner Park Tuesday, September 14, at 5 p.m. The Boulder Trail is a 10 foot wide non-motorized paved trail that the city anticipates being maintained and open year-round. The long-term goal is for the citywide trail system to create a connection from beyond Essentia Wellness Center to the city's southern border and then through Proctor to the Willard Munger State Trail.
Eveleth, MN- September 12-18 is Direct Support Professional Recognition Week in Eveleth. Mayor Robert Vlaisavljevich made the proclamation earlier today at East Range DAC. The organization provides several different direct services to individuals with disabilities. The team worked constantly through the pandemic and during this week the community is recognizing all that they do.
Ashland, WI- Downtown is ready to shop and sip wine! This week's theme is a Wine Walk and Shop. You will receive a wristband, wine glass, and shopping bag, and can spend the evening shopping for deals at participating businesses. All while getting wine samples at each one.
