Moose Lake, MN- The community will host a ceremony honoring its new title next week. Moose Lake will become the second Blue Ribbon City in the world Tuesday, October 19! The Blue Ribbon Ceremony will help promote kindness in the community and eradicate bullying. Superior, WI- A local group is hosting their annual "Steppin' Up for Dyslexia" fundraiser this Friday, October 15. The Children's Dyslexia Center of Upper Wisconsin will be hosting the event starting at 5 p.m. The fundraiser will take place at the Billings Park Civic Center and admission is $30 at the door. The evening will include dinner, a silent auction, a raffle and more. The organization offers free tutoring to students in the area with dyslexia. For more information, click here.

Madeline Island, WI- The island community will be celebrating fall this weekend. On Saturday, October 16, the Madeline Island community will come together to celebrate their annual Family Fall Fest! Events will be hosted for the whole family to enjoy. Pumpkin decorating, face painting and live music are just some of the free activities. Festivities run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. For more information, click here.
